Performance Monitoring

Can you do more than simply making sure your resources are reachable?

This HTTP monitor will record all the timing details of the request, which will enable you to better diagnose spurious or periodic issues, and in many cases offer advance warning when your service is degrading or struggling.

In our experience, this type of monitoring is the most valuable one because while downtimes happen sporadically, performance degradation tends to occur more frequently, and it's often a precursor to a full-on crash. Addressing these performance issues will make both your web server and your customers happy, and can save you a lot of headache down the line.

SSL Monitoring

We've all been there. SSL certificate failed to renew, or we forgot to buy a new one. This is another type of downtime, but fortunately very easy to prevent.

We recommend setting up two alert policies for SSL certificate expiration. Assuming certificates are automatically renewed 10 days prior to their expiry date, we suggest setting one policy to notify the designated team 7 days before expiration, and another policy to notify a secondary contact 3 days before expiration. This ensures timely renewal and prompt attention to any potential issues.
